Club Racing is held on THURSDAY EVENINGS, and Sunday afternoons may also be used where it suits.
In 2025 we aspire to get racing started by May, and run it until early September.
CREWS are normally in short supply, so come down and have a go! Sailing experience is not required, this is not the America’s Cup…
Because of the failing light, an EARLY START is usually made for races in late August / early September – the target start time then is 19.00 !
The boats racing are family cruisers under or around 30ft raced under time-on-time handicap ; this year we are using the YTC national rating system promoted by the RYA and developed and administered by the RORC Rating Office.
We would welcome the chance to run (concurrent) racing for any additional class.
